The AirPods Max is the best noise canceling headset out right now, but it's not the easiest to use or even the most comfortable. The lack of a headphone jack is frustrating, and the “smart” case … isn't. If none of that bothers you, you'll love the AirPods Max. If you're not sure this is for you, it probably isn't.
Apple put a lot of work into perfecting its software for the AirPods Max — that doesn't come cheap. On top of that, these headphones look and feel incredibly premium and have some of the best sound quality and noise canceling on the market.
Bring the box to your computer or mobile device and go to Apple's serial number checker to verify that it is, in fact, an Apple serial number. This will also have the benefit of helping you determine if you are actually holding stolen AirPods—even less cool than counterfeit ones.
